The Golden Age is Here
Hey, I just wanted to do a quick video on the golden age I've been talking about on Twitter, or X as it were; just bad habits. So, one of the things that people don't realize since January 20th, oil was at 80. It's now down at 67, that's a 15% drop.
This is gonna have a ripple effect through everything, from the cigars that I smoke to the gas you pay at the pump, to the diesel that goes in the trucks, to the transportation costs, to textiles, to plastics, to everything. And I don't know how far he's going to get it down to, but it's gotta be around 55 to 60, I think, to be sustainable for most people.
I know when we had our oil wells, we were only getting paid 12 bucks a barrel back in the day, but it's a little bit higher than that now. So, you've got to keep this in mind, even though there's a lot of chaos and everything that's going on. This is huge, [00:01:00] positive news. Huge, huge, huge, huge news. And just keep that in the back of your mind as you're going through and planning for this year. It's going to be felt here really, really quickly.
There's always some cushion before it gets pushed out. There has to be some compression through the wholesale, and to get out to the retail end, but it's coming and it's a good thing.
And I'm going to pop out a couple more videos. And you can see that I haven't smoked too much of my Fat Bottom Betty here. There were some rather loud people out here and I couldn't do it, but it's all good.
So, I'm catching up on my X feed, and there's some good stuff coming up. Watch Tesla. Their self driving cars are gonna be taxis. They're gonna be blowing people away, and they're gonna roll it out way faster than people thought.
So, what's that got to do with the economy? Everything. They're made in the US, believe it or not. Teslas that are in the US are made in the [00:02:00] US. Subaru and Tesla are the two most American car brands, believe it or not. All of the other ones are made in Mexico or whatever. All Ram trucks, I didn't know this, they're made in Mexico. Who wants to do that? So, buy American if you can and help your neighbor out and help yourself out.
