Hey, there. Want to talk about how your own attitude and your words that you speak can really have a profound impact on how much money you’re gonna make in your business. And I used to think this was fufu till I saw it in action probably about a thousand times. If you’re a coach, you never tear somebody up and down. Okay?
Some coaches have that style, but if you really want to get through to ’em, and yeah, I mean you have to be tough, but you cannot think that you don’t have what it takes to make it. Henry Ford did this too. “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right,” in both cases.
And every high-end entrepreneur, millionaires, even the billionaires that I’ve talked to, they all have the same attitude. They don’t typically let anyone be negative around them, you know. They crush it. They’re negative when they confront it. And I’ve seen somebody, we were in a sales meeting, and the rule was that you had to be asked how you were, you say you were doing great or fantastic.
So, we had a sales meeting and this was the second best sales guy in there, and normally he’s pretty good, but I don’t know what happened, his girlfriend got pissed off at him or something. But he, said, “I am not doing good at all.”
He said, “Screw this shit.”
Robert walked over to him and said, “What did you say?”
And he started his saying again. He goes, “This is all fucking bullshit.”
And he clean clocked him, knocked him out, fell right down on the ground. And he said, “Everybody,” he goes, “I will not tolerate this. This will cause all of you, you’re gonna think about it today. I want you to think, take away, this as a positive lesson. Don’t ever talk negative because what you speak comes into play.”
And if you’re around a negative person, if they’re your wife or husband, figure out how to get ’em to turn it off or divorce their asses ’cause your life’s gonna be miserable long term.
Same with your business. Don’t tolerate negative employees ’cause they will poison, they will poison your whole process. And I don’t know, I probably hired and fired a hundred people at least, maybe 200, ah, probably 200 at least. A lot of ’em might wanna forget though.
So, that’s it. So don’t stand for negativity. You know, thoughts are things. There’s a million books written on that and it’s true. So, always think you can do it, you know, and think that you’re not tired and that you’re gonna make the sale. And 9 times out of 10, it works.
