Adobe Is Toast

Adobe Is Toast

I'm calling it. I think Adobe's days as the dominant player in creative software are numbered.

And I've been working deeply with Ai for about five years now, so this isn't something I just started paying attention to yesterday.

Open-source Ai tools are advancing incredibly fast.

We're seeing alternatives for image editing, graphic design, video production, and other creative workflows that used to require expensive software subscriptions.

And some of these tools are FREE if you know how to install and configure them.

So here's my question:

Why keep paying hundreds or thousands of dollars for software when you can get the results you need with alternatives that cost substantially less?

I've already moved away from Adobe.

We're using other products, getting the results we need, and saving thousands of dollars in software expenses.

And then there's Magento.

Adobe bought Magento years ago for more than $1.5 billion.

I recently looked at a website running it, and I wasn't impressed.

From what I saw, it had problems with speed, accessibility, SEO, and AEO.

That's not what I expect from expensive enterprise software.

But here's the bigger issue.

Adobe built an enormous competitive advantage around its software ecosystem.

I believe open-source Ai is rapidly weakening that advantage.

And as more businesses discover what these alternatives can do, I expect they'll start questioning those expensive subscriptions.

I'm even looking at Adobe from an investment perspective.

My personal prediction is that the stock could face significant pressure over the next several years. I could be wrong about the timing, but that's how I see the competitive landscape changing.

This is my opinion, not financial advice or a recommendation to buy or sell securities.

And it isn't just Adobe.

Businesses everywhere should be auditing their software subscriptions, looking for unused licenses, and asking whether they're getting their money's worth.

The era of paying enormous licensing fees simply because a company has always dominated an industry may be coming to an end.

What do YOU think?

Is Adobe still worth the subscription, or have you already moved to something better?
