Forget about horsepower and top speed.
This tractor race has one goal:
Be the slowest. 😂
I'm watching a slow tractor race, and the rules make this even better.
Once they're going, the drivers can't touch the throttle.
They can't use the brakes.
All they can do is steer.
And if the tractor dies?
It dies.
So now we're watching these old tractors crawl toward the finish line as slowly as mechanically possible.
Some aren't going to make it.
Some haven't even crossed the stage yet.
And then there's the old Allis-Chalmers.
This thing looks like it's moving about a quarter mile an hour. 😂
But that's exactly what you want in this race.
Watching it crawl along also reminds you what these old tractors were built to do.
They weren't designed to win speed records.
They were built to work.
Put that power into pulling a plow, working a field, or dragging something heavy, and you've got a completely different story.
I think we know who's winning the slowest tractor race.
Good old Allis-Chalmers, man.
