Montgomery County Tractor Show
Montgomery County Antique Tractor Show
I'm still wandering around the Montgomery County Antique Tractor Show in Tennessee, checking out everything from the really old machines to some of the newer tractors.
And I'll tell you what:
I love this old machinery.
These things were built differently.
Heavy metal.
Simple mechanics.
Built to be repaired.
Built to work.
And in my opinion, a lot of these old tractors will still be running long after some of the modern stuff is gone.
I feel the same way about old cars and trucks.
Give me something from the era when you could open the hood, see what was going on, fix it, and get back to work.
Then, of course, we come across one of the big boys.
That's half the fun of an antique tractor show.
Every few feet there's another piece of machinery that makes you stop and take a look.
Old-school equipment built to work.
Pretty cool.
